Founded in January 2009, Portable Zoo Inc is a Santa Clara based game development studio focused on iPhone, casual games and social network gaming. A collective of experienced game industry veterans, the Portable Zoo mission statement is to bring the highest quality, addictiveness and fun factor to a new generation of players via iPhone, iPod Touch and casual gaming sites. The Founders:

 
Don Traeger - CEO: A long established industry veteran, Don started at Atari in 1980. Co-Founded EA Sports while at EA and founded and ran Locomotive Games Studio for 11 years for THQ. But more importantly… he is the voice on the coin-op classic Paperboy!

 
 

 
Matt Winalski - CCO: An artist and game designer, Matt has worked on a variety of different games in many different roles, from cut scene artist to creative director. He has made games for many home consoles from the Dreamcast to the Wii, as well as the PC and PSP.

 
 

 
Robert Marr - CTO: Robert has been programming video games for 12 years.  He has shipped games for a variety of consoles, and was the lead programmer on Ratatouille for the PSP.  He is currently splitting his time between Portable Zoo and his new barbershop quartet.

 
 

 
Mark Blattel - Principal Programmer:   (a sometimes member of the wolf exhibit in the "zoo") has been working as a programmer in the game industry since 1990 on projects ranging from educational games to virtual reality. The most well-known games he has worked on are Star Wars: Episode I Racer and Shadows of the Empire for the N64. In his spare time he performs in Community Theater and plays too much World of Warcraft. 

 
 

 
Ken Proudfoot - Technical Art Director: An MFA Film Graduate from California Institute of the Arts, Ken has been working in the video game industry for over 10 years, and has shipped over a dozen titles on a multitude of platforms from PC and consoles, to handhelds.

Lindsay Haven - Assistant Producer & Web Administrator: An experienced Assistant Producer on Wii titles, Lindsay has enjoyed playing video games since she got her first NES when she was 9 years old. When not producing at her day job she enjoys web development, all things tech, and the great outdoors.
